About the Workshop

Pretrained robot foundation models are increasingly capable, yet real-world deployment still requires adaptation to new environments, embodiments, tasks, and failures. RoboPAD focuses on post-training: how to adapt, correct, evaluate, and safely improve these models after pretraining.

We bring together researchers in robot learning, reinforcement learning, foundation models, world models, and embodied AI to consolidate post-training as a shared research agenda.

Call for Papers

We welcome work in progress, under-review work, and unpublished or preprint work substantially reframed as open-problem, benchmark, or perspective contributions. Archival published papers are not eligible.

Submission Overview

Format

Unified upper bound of 9 pages of main content, consistent with the standard NeurIPS conference content page limit. Shorter workshop-style submissions (e.g., 4–7 pages) are fully welcome; the 9-page cap is an upper bound, not a target length. References and appendix are unlimited.

Review & status

Double-blind review via OpenReview. Non-archival submission: accepted work is presented at the workshop and will not appear in the official NeurIPS proceedings. Accepted papers may be assigned to a poster or oral slot, and one submission will receive the Best Paper Award.

RoboWorld Challenge 2026

RoboWorld 2026 is an independently organized challenge associated with the RoboPAD Workshop at NeurIPS 2026. It focuses on embodied world modeling for robotics and autonomous driving across multiple tracks.

Challenge logistics, registration, and evaluation are managed by the RoboWorld organizing team; participation is separate from RoboPAD paper submission.
